Hello! My name is Gordo!

Here’s what my friends at Española Humane say about me:

- Meet Gordo, a 3-year-old brown and white tabby with a heart as big as his voice! Gordo's journey began when a kind-hearted person noticed him sitting outside their window, crying out for attention. His loud meows made it clear, he wanted in. Initially brought in through a TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return) program, it quickly became apparent that Gordo wasn't a feral cat at all, but a sweet boy just waiting for his chance to be loved.

Since arriving in our care, Gordo has shown himself to be a vocal sweetheart. He loves to "talk" and will happily share his thoughts with anyone who listens. While he's still adjusting to human touch, Gordo's occasional hiss is simply his way of saying he's not quite ready for a cuddle, though he's definitely not aggressive. With a little patience, Gordo will continue to warm up, and we know that he'll soon be ready to show just how affectionate he can be.
