Hello! My name is Atlas!

Here’s what my friends at Española Humane say about me:

- Atlas is a gentle boy, who's still learning to trust and feel safe with us. He loves soft pets (and soft cheese), but can get overwhelmed with fast movements. We don't know what his life was like before he came to us, but it likely contributed to his nervousness. Despite this, he's truly a sweet dog, who just happens to have some missing toes, but he doesn't let that hold him back. Once he knows you, he seeks safety and comfort, snuggling close for some soft love. All this handsome dog needs is a patient, loving home that will support him as he opens up and learns to be the amazing dog he truly is.

If you’re interested in adopting me, fill out an application to get a jump start on the process! We don’t offer holds on shelter pets, so c’mon in to meet and greet to decide if you’ve met your match. Applications for pets in foster care, at Ojo Santa Fe, or offsite in other programs will be reviewed by staff before appointments are scheduled.
