- Maple is a beautiful 3-month-old tabbico (a mix of tabby and calico) with a gentle, tender heart. She came to the shelter with her three siblings, all feeling a little scared and uncertain in the new environment. While Maple is initially a nervous kitten, she has the potential to become an absolute sweetheart once she feels comfortable and safe.

Though she might need some time to adjust, Maple is all about affection once she trusts you. She loves to be pampered and will melt into your hands when she's given a little extra love. Though she's shy at first, with time, patience, and the right environment, Maple will make the perfect companion for any household.

Maple has only ever known life indoors, and like all kittens, she should be kept strictly indoors to keep her safe and healthy. If you're looking for a kitten who needs a little extra TLC to bring out her sweet side, Maple could be the one for you. With a little patience, she'll become your cuddly, loyal friend for life!

We don’t offer holds on shelter pets, so c’mon in to meet and greet to decide if you’ve met your match. Applications for pets in foster care, at Ojo Santa Fe, or offsite in other programs will be reviewed by staff before appointments are scheduled.
