Hello! My name is Pancake!

Here’s what my friends at Española Humane say about me:

- Pancake is a beautiful, medium-haired gray tabby with a bit of a shy side, but don't let that fool you, she's got a lot of love to give once she's comfortable! Pancake came to the shelter with her three siblings, and understandably, she was a bit scared of her new environment. At first, she would freeze in place and take in her surroundings, sometimes giving a little hiss when things felt overwhelming. She's never been aggressive, though, and has never tried to bite, just a little cautious as she adjusts to new experiences.

Pancake isn't as outgoing as her more confident siblings, but with time, patience, and gentle care, she will grow into a sweet, affectionate kitten. She's used to living indoors, and like all kittens, she should be kept strictly indoors where she can feel safe and secure.

If you're looking for a kitten who will need some time to open up, but who will reward you with her loving, loyal companionship as she does, Pancake could be the perfect fit. With the right environment and a little extra TLC, she'll be your sweet, cuddly companion in no time!

Applications for pets in foster care, at Ojo Santa Fe, or offsite in other programs will be reviewed by staff before appointments are scheduled.
