Hello! My name is Lilac!
Here’s what my friends at Española Humane say about me:
- Meet Lilac, a beautiful 3-month-old tortoiseshell kitten with a heart of gold, just waiting to bloom. Lilac came to the shelter as an owner surrender, and while she was initially nervous, she quickly warmed up to the staff, accepting affection and attention in a gentle way. Recently, Lilac was moved to the cat room, which has been a big adjustment for her. The new environment has understandably left her feeling scared, and she's been expressing her unease with loud crying and the occasional swat.
However, deep down, Lilac is a sweetheart who simply needs time and patience to adjust to her new surroundings. Once she feels comfortable with you, she becomes a loving and affectionate little cuddlebug, purring happily and eager to shower you with affection. She's still getting used to being around other cats and people, but with a little understanding and gentle encouragement, Lilac is sure to blossom into a trusting and loving companion.
Because of her young age, Lilac should be kept strictly indoors to keep her safe as she grows. A quiet, patient home would be ideal for her, where she can continue to build her confidence and feel secure.
Lilac is a little shy at first, but her loving nature is waiting to shine through. If you're looking for a cat who will take a little time to adjust but reward you with boundless affection once she feels safe, Lilac might be the perfect match for you! With love and patience, she'll thrive and become a cherished member of your family.
