Hello! My name is Phil!

- Meet Phil, a handsome and sweet 4-year-old black and white cat who's as affectionate as he is vocal! Phil came to the shelter with his best friend, Meeka, but unfortunately, due to Meeka testing positive for FELV/FIV, they had to be separated. Despite the change, Phil has remained his loving self, though he's been a little extra vocal in his new environment-clearly missing the companionship of his friend, but never letting it dampen his sweet nature.

Phil is a friendly, social cat who gets along great with other cats and should do well in almost any household. He's a people person (or, rather, a people cat!) and enjoys being around his humans. While he may cry out for attention from time to time, he's simply expressing his love and eagerness to interact. Phil is the kind of cat who thrives on affection and will happily snuggle up for pets or curl up next to you for some quality bonding time.

Phil is a wonderful companion and would do great in a home with other cats or even as a solo pet. His vocal nature is just one of the many ways he shows how much he wants to be loved. We don’t offer holds on shelter pets, so c’mon in to meet and greet to decide if you’ve met your match. Applications for pets in foster care, at Ojo Santa Fe, or offsite in other programs will be reviewed by staff before appointments are scheduled.
