- Meet Rolo, our adorable short-haired brown tabby who is 5 months old! Rolo came to us with four other cats, and at first, he was absolutely terrified, doing his best to avoid human contact and darting out of his kennel whenever he had the chance. His initial high temperature was a sign of stress, but after a few days of care and attention, he began to warm up to our staff and now allows them to handle him.

With time and patience, Rolo is on the path to becoming the loving companion he's meant to be. Though he's still a bit shy, we believe that in a calm and supportive environment, he will continue to build his confidence and learn to trust.

We don’t offer holds on shelter pets, so c’mon in to meet and greet to decide if you’ve met your match. Applications for pets in foster care, at Ojo Santa Fe, or offsite in other programs will be reviewed by staff before appointments are scheduled.
