- S'mores is a loving 1-year-old black and white short-haired cat with a heart as warm as her name suggests! This sweet girl was abandoned in the shelter parking lot along with her three kittens, who were unfortunately found a day later. In her effort to keep warm, S'mores climbed into a staff member's engine, emerging with a desperate meow and an affectionate rub against their legs-showing just how gentle and loving she truly is.

Since arriving at the shelter, S'mores has continued to seek out attention, often vocalizing her need for love and companionship. Her playful and affectionate nature makes her a joy to be around, but she prefers to be the center of attention and isn't fond of sharing her space with other cats.

We don’t offer holds on shelter pets, so c’mon in to meet and greet to decide if you’ve met your match. Applications for pets in foster care, at Ojo Santa Fe, or offsite in other programs will be reviewed by staff before appointments are scheduled.
