Hello! My name is Archie!

- Meet Archie, an adorable 2-month-old male orange tabby with a heart full of curiosity and a playful spirit that can't be stopped! Archie came to the shelter with his two siblings, scared but safe, and it was quickly clear that they were too young to be on their own. After a short stay at the shelter, Archie and his siblings were placed in foster care to get the care and attention they needed to thrive.

While in foster care, Archie faced some challenges, including severe diarrhea and painful mouth ulcers. But despite these hurdles, his sweet, playful personality shone through. He never let his health struggles hold him back from exploring, playing, and being the curious kitten he was always meant to be. Now, fully recovered and ready to take on the world, Archie is looking for a forever home where he can continue to grow and thrive.

This little guy is all about exploring his environment, chasing after toys, and pouncing on anything that moves. He loves to play and is always on the lookout for new adventures. Because of his age, Archie will need to be an indoor-only cat, where he can stay safe and happy as he continues to grow into the playful, affectionate companion he's meant to be.

We don’t offer holds on shelter pets, so c’mon in to meet and greet to decide if you’ve met your match. Applications for pets in foster care, at Ojo Santa Fe, or offsite in other programs will be reviewed by staff before appointments are scheduled.
