Petco hosts Friday, Oct. 18, adoption event

The shelter’s off-site team offers every adopter special incentives, including a pet-food starter kit, free plush toys, plus information about the ins-and-outs of adopting. Join us at the Santa Fe Petco from noon to 3 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 18, at 2006 Cerrillos Road.
Reduced fees are not all during these special, off-site events. Every adopted pet will receive a special gift, a sample bag of pet food and delicious treats to start their new journey on a sweet note. Plus, all pets are spayed or neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and eagerly waiting to become cherished members of loving families.

Petsense hosts Saturday, Oct. 19, adoption event and vaccine clinic

Riverside , Española, NM, United StatesAn Española pet store is hosting a pet Halloween costume contest, adoptions and vaccination clinic event Saturday, Oct. 19, that includes prizes and giveaways. The 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. party takes place at Petsense, 1506 N. Riverside Drive, Española, in the Lowe’s parking complex. Free pet vaccinations are available for all pets through Española Humane’s Pet Amigos program. Free vaccines distributed through Petco Love’s national initiative include DAPPv Canine and HCP Feline vaccines. Free rabies vaccines are provided through Española Humane’s generous donors. Pet adoptions are provided through Española Humane, Los Alamos County Animal Shelter and Dixon Animal Protection Society. The New Mexico Wildlife Center and Pizza 9 will also be a part of the event. Participants are encouraged to arrive early to register for the costume contest, which begins at 2 p.m. Winners will be announced after the contest and photos will be posted on the store’s Facebook page. Prizes will be given to first-, second- and third-place winners. There will be free giveaways during the party. Española Humane’s adoptable pets are spay/neutered, up to date on vaccinations and ready to go home to loving families. Puppies and kittens are available for $25; adult pets are fee waived. Rowley Farmhouse Ales hosts Sunday adoption event
Rowley Farmhouse Ales 1405 Maclovia Street, Santa Fe, New MexicoFall in love with a furry friend from Española Humane! Now is the time to complete your family with reduced adoption fees on puppies and kittens and fee-waived adoptions on all adult pets. From 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 20, we urge animal lovers to join us at Rowley Farmhouse Ales, located at 1405 Maclovia St., Santa Fe, for a Tap Take Over event where a portion of the proceeds will benefit the shelter. Guests will have the opportunity to enjoy a variety of beverages while supporting a great cause. During the event, attendees can meet and adopt adorable kittens, puppies, and adult dogs that are looking for their forever homes. Adoption fees for kittens and puppies are just $25, while adult pets are fee waived. All adopted pets will go home with a sample bag of pet food and treats, in addition to being spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and ready to join loving families. Rowley Farmhouse Ales has selected Española Humane as the recipient of their yearlong support for an animal charity. As part of this support, a special keg with a designated tap, featuring a carved dog head, will be periodically switched out to continue benefiting the shelter.
