Espanola Humane Partners with BISSELL Foundation for “Empty the Shelters” Adoption Event
Española Valley Humane Society 108 Hamm Parkway, EspañolaEspanola Humane is honored to be a part of the BISSELL Pet Foundation’s national effort to find homes for pets this spring, reducing fees for its Empty the Shelters adoption event through Wednesday, May 15.
• Española Humane will participate May 1-15, at its main shelter, 108 Hamm Parkway, Española, N.M., offering fee-waived adoption fees for adult cats and dogs, and $25 for kittens and puppies and fee-waived adoptions on all adult pets. The adoption fees are the same at the shelter’s mobile adoption events at PetSmart on Friday, May 3 and May 10; Rowley Farmhouse Ales on Saturday, May 4 and Ford Quick Lane on Saturday, May 11.

BISSELL Pet Foundation’s “Empty the Shelters” event is the largest funded adoption event in the country. This lifesaving event began in 2016 with a goal of encouraging more families to choose adoption. More than 226, 000 pets have found loving homes since its inception. “Empty the Shelters” is BISSELL Pet Foundation’s largest program, partnering with 742 animal welfare organizations in 49 states and Canada to reduce adoption fees.

Rowley Farmhouse Ales hosts Pulls for Pups, Adoptions
Rowley Farmhouse Ales 1405 Maclovia Street, Santa FeOn Saturday, May 4, Española Humane will host a special adoption event at Rowley Farmhouse Ales in Santa Fe, marking the kickoff of their yearlong Pulls for Pups fundraising venture.
From 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., animal lovers can join us at Rowley Farmhouse Ales, located at 1405 Maclovia St., Santa Fe, for a tap takeover event where a portion of the proceeds will benefit the shelter. Guests will have the opportunity to enjoy a variety of beverages while supporting a great cause.
During the event, attendees can meet and adopt adorable kittens, puppies, and adult dogs that are looking for their forever homes. Adoption fees for kittens and puppies are just $25, while adult pets are fee waived. All adopted pets will go home with a sample bag of pet food and treats, in addition to being spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and ready to join loving families.
Rowley Farmhouse Ales has selected Española Humane as the recipient of their yearlong support for an animal charity. As part of this support, a special keg with a designated tap, featuring a carved dog head, will be periodically switched out to continue benefiting the shelter.
