Palace Prime hosts Espanola Humane for Pours for Pups
Palace Prime hosts Espanola Humane for Pours for Pups
Join Española Humane on Thursday, April 25, from 5-7 PM at Palace Prime, located at 142 W. Palace Ave. in Santa Fe, for Pours for Pups, a special event featuring adoptable puppies and signature cocktails.
Renowned bartender and mixologist Weston Simons of Weston Drinks will be guest bartending, offering three exclusive drinks in honor of the event.
Palace Prime will generously donate a portion of their bar sales to support the event, and puppies will be available for adoption onsite.
Every adopted pet will receive a special gift, including a sample bag of pet food and delicious treats to kick off their new journey on a sweet note. Additionally, all pets are spayed or neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and eagerly awaiting to become cherished members of loving families.

Join us on Friday, April 26, from noon to 3 p.m., at Petco, 2006 Cerrillos Road, and on Saturday, April 27, at Barker Realty, 530 S. Guadalupe St., Santa Fe, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. where you can share the love. It's your chance to fall in love and give a homeless pet a forever home.
Reduced fees are not all during these special, off-site events. Every adopted pet will receive a special gift, a sample bag of pet food and delicious treats to start their new journey on a sweet note. Plus, all pets are spayed or neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and eagerly waiting to become cherished members of loving families.
Barker Realty continues to collect items for its second annual monthlong donation drive for the shelter. The business is asking the community to bring donations of pet food, treats, toys, blankets and crates to the business to help the shelter. The items will be donated at the end of the month.
Adoption requirements remain the same during these special events. Please note that adoption fees are different at the shelter’s main location, so be sure to check the website for the most current fees as they are subject to change.

ESPAÑOLA, NM –- Giveaways, and reduced adoption fees are a part of a special event Saturday, April 27 at an Espanola pet store.
Espanola Humane will join the 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Petsense National Adoption Event, Saturday, at Petsense that features adorable puppies, kittens, and adult dogs. The store is located at 1506 N. Riverside Drive.
Espanola Humane kittens and puppies are available for an adoption fee of $25; adult pets are fee waived. All adopted pets will go home with a sample bag of pet food, and treats. All pets are spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations and ready to go home to loving families.

Espanola Humane Partners with BISSELL Foundation for “Empty the Shelters” Adoption Event
Espanola Humane is honored to be a part of the BISSELL Pet Foundation’s national effort to find homes for pets this spring, reducing fees for its Empty the Shelters adoption event through Wednesday, May 15.
• Española Humane will participate May 1-15, at its main shelter, 108 Hamm Parkway, Española, N.M., offering fee-waived adoption fees for adult cats and dogs, and $25 for kittens and puppies and fee-waived adoptions on all adult pets. The adoption fees are the same at the shelter’s mobile adoption events at PetSmart on Friday, May 3 and May 10; Rowley Farmhouse Ales on Saturday, May 4 and Ford Quick Lane on Saturday, May 11.

BISSELL Pet Foundation’s “Empty the Shelters” event is the largest funded adoption event in the country. This lifesaving event began in 2016 with a goal of encouraging more families to choose adoption. More than 226, 000 pets have found loving homes since its inception. “Empty the Shelters” is BISSELL Pet Foundation’s largest program, partnering with 742 animal welfare organizations in 49 states and Canada to reduce adoption fees.
"Our nation’s animal shelters are facing a capacity crisis and need your help now. Adoptions have slowed while a surge in owner surrenders due to families facing economic and housing challenges has left tens of thousands of highly adoptable pets desperate to find homes," said Cathy Bissell, Founder of BISSELL Pet Foundation. Rowley Farmhouse Ales hosts Pulls for Pups, Adoptions
On Saturday, May 4, Española Humane will host a special adoption event at Rowley Farmhouse Ales in Santa Fe, marking the kickoff of their yearlong Pulls for Pups fundraising venture.
From 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., animal lovers can join us at Rowley Farmhouse Ales, located at 1405 Maclovia St., Santa Fe, for a tap takeover event where a portion of the proceeds will benefit the shelter. Guests will have the opportunity to enjoy a variety of beverages while supporting a great cause.
During the event, attendees can meet and adopt adorable kittens, puppies, and adult dogs that are looking for their forever homes. Adoption fees for kittens and puppies are just $25, while adult pets are fee waived. All adopted pets will go home with a sample bag of pet food and treats, in addition to being spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and ready to join loving families.
Rowley Farmhouse Ales has selected Española Humane as the recipient of their yearlong support for an animal charity. As part of this support, a special keg with a designated tap, featuring a carved dog head, will be periodically switched out to continue benefiting the shelter.
