- Meet Scout, our sweet black and white kitten who is almost 5 months old! Scout arrived at the shelter with four other cats, and at first, he was quite terrified, often trying to dart out of his kennel. With time, patience, and gentle care, he has started to grow more trusting, though he's still on the shy side.
While he may not be the most outgoing kitten, Scout has a gentle spirit and is learning to enjoy the company of his human friends. With a little encouragement, he's beginning to show his playful side and is eager to find a loving home where he can continue to build his confidence.

We don’t offer holds on shelter pets, so c’mon in to meet and greet to decide if you’ve met your match. Applications for pets in foster care, at Ojo Santa Fe, or offsite in other programs will be reviewed by staff before appointments are scheduled.
