He came to us as an owner surrender, feeling a bit nervous in his new surroundings but not completely shut down. Chrome is great with being handled and absolutely loves affection, making him a sweet boy at heart.

While he's still adjusting to the hustle and bustle of shelter life, Chrome shows promise of being a loving companion with a little time and patience. He grew up around dogs, although we don't have detailed information on how he interacted with them.

We don’t offer holds on shelter pets, so c’mon in to meet and greet to decide if you’ve met your match. Applications for pets in foster care, at Ojo Santa Fe, or offsite in other programs will be reviewed by staff before appointments are scheduled.
